Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor

The place was nicely presented and nicely appointed, with its WONDERFULLY HELPFUL staff from the cleaner to the manager.

I came here with my baby. The staff were hard-working and service-minded up until the day I left. The bed was comfortable, the room was a nice size and tastefully decorated with superb bath. The service here was good. The hotel was in the central setting in Bugis St restaurant;))

We had hot breakfasts and visited a modern bar on-site.

Nothing too much trouble, I enjoyed this place, would definitely recommend. Had good stay for my visit to Lego land the next day, the staff were efficient, location was unbeatable in a quiet environment. Location: the hotel was just next door to legoland, Slough, Windsor. They had an early check-in.

Rooms were good, furnishing is somewhat outdated. Breakfast was very extensive and fresh.

Although the breakfast was described as included in the booking, we had to pay extra on the spot.

The breakfast was excellent, guests were offered fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs and yoghourt. The staff were excellent during our whole stay.

Convenient location for Legoland

It was located near to Windsor which was great for sightseeing and shopping and close to the lovely restaurants and bars. The hotel rooms were very nice but the staff were very vague. The bar staff were very slow and couldnt speak much English and the waiting staff at breakfast seemed very inexperienced.

The hotel was advertised as having a spa - unfortunately the jacuzzi was not working the pool was cold and the changing rooms were very grotty. I would stay again as the location was good but wouldnt use the spa.

We were upgraded and our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The leisure centre facilities were really good.

We could not get room service when we arrived. It took two hours to get a meal. We had to keep going down to reception as no one would answer the phone

The one thing we have found each time we have stayed is that the pillows are too thick and too hard. Holiday Inn leave two thicknesses of pillows with also soft or hard choices.

Convenient parking and made very welcome. Reception staff as helpful as possible my daughter enjoyed her swims and the £5 pop bottle with free refills. Comfortable bed and powerful shower. Daughter enjoyed the games room equipped with a PS2 and xbox 360

Receptions staff were not helpful over phone prior o visit and confusion over payment. Prices in hotel were expensive and although located well for Windsor and Legoland you are isolated from anywhere else to eat and drink. The rooms are clean and comfortable but in need of a face lift. Very dated decor.

Recommend for a weekend

Clean room, spacious room, with free wifi and a good breakfast variety made our family of four comfortable for the night while being conveniently located just 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport.

Loved everything.

The hotel more than lived up to our expectations. Some of the reviews said the rooms were small and unclean, however we were very impressed with our room, the king size bed, childs bed and cot. We would definitely stay there again.

The only small thing was the car parking did not clearly show the stairs to the reception, but instead gave you the impression you were going up to the gym/spa area, so we walked around the car park to the hotel's entrance. However this wasn't a big problem, and we easily found our way back to the car park the next morning.
